Family Bird Watching with Aquidneck Land Trust

In honor of renowned glass artist Toots Zynsky‘s solo exhibition Past/Present, which features works inspired by birds endangered due to habitat loss, we have partnered with the Aquidneck Land Trust and Norman Bird Sanctuary to offer special multi-generational bird watching experiences. Whether you’ve never been bird watching before, or if you’re a regular, this is a wonderful opportunity to share an early evening stroll with the whole family.

Meet us at Little Creek Preserve in Portsmouth for a family-friendly nature walk led by Charles Clarkson, the Director of Avian Research for the Audubon Society of RI. We’ll wander down wide paths and boardwalks, explore wildlife habitats and wetlands, and enjoy beautiful scenic vistas, while we learn about the wide variety of birds that call the preserve home.

Binoculars welcome but not required.

Parking can be found on Malee Terrace, a short walk from the entrance to Little Creek Preserve.

Space is limited, reservations required.
