With a panoramic view of the ocean, Gardiner Pond and Narragansett Bay, the Hanging Rock Ridge offers one of the most beautiful and scenic outlooks on Aquidneck Island. The hike culminates on the ridge just before sunset, with plenty of time to hike back before dark.
Together with a Norman Bird Sanctuary educator, hike along the Hanging Rock Ridge while learning about the geology of the region, the most recent glacial activity in southern New England, and the formation of Paradise Valley.
