The Quononoquott Garden Club will be holding a Plant Sale on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Ft. Getty Pavilion, Ft. Getty Road, Jamestown, RI from 9 am – noon. There will be a great selection of plants – hardy perennials native to our area. The Quononoquott Garden Club’s mission is civic beautification of our island. The club planted and maintains gardens at the Welcome to Jamestown Sign, established and cares for the Pollinator Gardens at the Four Corners, Fire Museum Garden, The Gardens around the Town Hall, and Planters at the East Ferry Memorial Square. Jamestowners and visitors can enjoy the club’s extensive Daffodil Gardens along the 138 Connector and more daffodils will be planted along the 900 ft. section of the reservoir wall near the new bike path by the club. The Monarch Butterflies will find a proposed Milkweed Garden at Beavertail State Park a delectable surprise.
