For the first time since 2014, the Atlantic Cup returns to its roots in Newport, Rhode Island. Considered by many to be the sailing capital of the USA, it is a destination rooted in history. This second of three legs will take competitors on a 250-nautical mile journey docking in Newport on June 1st, to then head up north to Portland, Maine.
The Atlantic Cup is longest offshore race in the Western Atlantic and is the only US race dedicated to the Class40. The 2024 edition will commence in Charleston, South Carolina on May 25, 2024 and culminate the weekend of June 7 in Portland, Maine.
